UNIT TRANSFERS

  1. Initiation of Transfer
A Kingsman who seeks to transfer from one Company to another shall first declare their intent to their current Captain (the Losing Captain). The matter shall be raised plainly and in good faith.
  2. Coordination Between Captains
Upon receiving such a request, the Losing Captain shall without delay contact the intended gaining Captain to discuss the proposed transfer, sharing such details as may be needful for wise judgment.
  3. Approval by Captains
If both the Losing Captain and the Gaining Captain give their assent to the transfer, the Gaining Captain shall forthwith report the approved transfer to Crown Command, that it may be entered into the rolls of the realm and take effect.
  4. Objection by Either Captain
Should either the Losing Captain or the Gaining Captain withhold their approval, both Captains shall promptly notify Crown Command of the objection and the reasons thereof, that the matter may be duly considered.
  5. Final Ruling by Crown Command
In all cases where objection is raised, or where Crown Command deems further review necessary, Crown Command shall examine the circumstances and render a final decision on whether the transfer shall proceed.
Before issuing such ruling, Crown Command shall consult with the transferee, the Losing Captain, and the Gaining Captain, hearing each voice in turn so that justice and the good of the Kingsmen may be served.
  6. Binding Nature of Transfers
Once a transfer is approved, whether by mutual assent of the Captains or by decree of Crown Command, the Kingsman shall join the new Company with honour and without lingering grievance. No Kingsman shall be compelled to remain where their heart no longer rests, nor shall any transfer be granted lightly where it weakens the realm unduly.
  7. Restriction on Repeated Transfers
The matter of transfers is not taken lightly, for it bears upon the readiness and strength of every Company touched thereby. Accordingly, any Kingsman who has once transferred shall be barred from seeking or undertaking another transfer for a period of twelve full months from the date their prior transfer took effect, unless great and pressing cause necessitates an earlier move.
Such cause shall be declared directly to the intended Gaining Captain, who shall without delay bring the request and its reasons before Crown Command. Crown Command alone shall weigh the matter and render judgment on whether the bar may be lifted in that instance.

This decree ensures that transfers of fealty within the Kingsmen proceed with order, courtesy, and regard for the strength of all Companies, preserving both the bonds of command and the freedom of loyal service.
